I purchased my Z Fold 3 through AT&T in October of 2021. Today, on 17 July 2022, the display suffered damage due to engineering flaw (aka not customers' fault). I did notice for about week, I had like a catching going on in the hinge when I would open the large display, promoting a notice popping sound. I googled if people had a similar issue
It's feels about better without it and makes it less hard to open. No issues on mine since launch. It's too early though. Had the Fold 2, 3, and now 4. Never had any issues with the screen protector bubbling. Although I did eventually take mine off after a few month because I like the feel without it.
